teddy - magic castle surprise - maryland proton treatment centerMaryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC) Patient Teddy Wind and his family were featured in a story for NBC Baltimore (WBAL) on Teddy’s last day of treatment.

Like all MPTC pediatric patients, Teddy made three wishes on his first day of proton therapy. Through the generosity of the Children’s Cancer Foundation, MPTC is able to make one wish come true for each pediatric patient. Wishes are granted during a special magic castle ceremony on the patient’s last day.

Teddy wished for macaroni and cheese, Curious George pajamas and a Kindle tablet. Since his wishes were fairly simple, MPTC was able to make all three come true!
