MPTC Physician Dr. Elizabeth Nichols Named One of 25 Women to Watch in 2019 by The Baltimore Sun

Elizabeth M. Nichols, MD, Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and Clinical Director of University of Maryland Department of Radiation Oncology has been named as one of The Baltimore Sun’s 25 Women to Watch in 2019. The list, which features some of the Baltimore area’s leading voices in business, activism, research, among other fields, honors Dr. Nichols for her work in pioneering new breast cancer treatment technologies that minimize damage to healthy tissue, including proton therapy and GammaPod.
