P. Reed McDonagh, III, MD, PhD

A radiation oncology physician, Dr. McDonagh treats various cancers. His primary focus is on treating gynecological cancers (cancer that begins in a woman’s reproductive organs). He also treats breast and blood cancers.

Dr. McDonagh looks forward to treating gynecologic cancers and supporting patients and their caretakers during treatment journeys while addressing emotional and psychological effects to help improve outcomes. He is trained in the latest radiation treatment methods, including:

  • 3D-CRT
  • High-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy
  • Intensity modulated radiation therapy/IMRT and volumetric modulated arc therapy/VMAT
  • MRI-guided adaptive therapy
  • Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)
  • Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)

Dr. McDonagh is a proud native of Southern Maryland.
